7th-12th graders let the paper snowballs fly in the Steele Library Teen Space 

Come by the Van Etten Library December 1 thru December 12 and create a stuffed frosty friend to keep, gift, or donate to the Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive!

Begin the season holiday with Holly leaves. Learn the copper foil stained glass process with artist, Erica Unterwoman. Solder candy colored glass pieces to sculpt a traditional suncatcher.

Celebrate Winter making a large, white snowflake out of white paper bags. Patron glues 9 paper bags together, applies a design in pencil and then cuts out the design. The cutout form is then fanned out into a 3-D snowflake.

Enjoy a laid-back time coloring in one of our many themed coloring books. Choose from a variety of coloring media—markers, colored pencils, crayons, and more!

Stuff a Fuzzy, Cuddly Friend!
Get ready for some holiday magic! 🎄 Join us to make your very own soft and snuggly stuffed animal friend to take home.

7th-12th graders:  curious about acting?  Interested in writing a play?  Hang out with performer, writer Tim Collins and learn acting skills, and collaborate with other teens to write and develop other plays to perform in 2025!&nbsp

Punch needle art is a type of embroidery that involves using a special needle to create loops of yarn into fabric to create pattern & textures. Learn how to use the punch needle, then create a 6" ornament or decorative hanging.

The Calligraphy Club meets the second Wednesday of each month from 2:30-4pm at the West Elmira Library. Bring your own supplies to work on the monthly theme, or anything else you prefer. The club is an open-ended chance to learn from each other.

Create and construct with the library's play dough and tools.

This months Teen "Crafts & Stuff" is Sharpie Tile Art!!  Join us at Big Flats Library, Wednesdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm for fun activities and crafts geared toward our teenage patrons. Please register online to save your spot!

Teens can come into the Teen Space and make their own unique shrinky dink ornaments to give as gifts or use for holiday decoration at home!
