Teens can come in and make a fun beaded jellyfish to hang from a window, on their bag as a keychain, or however they wish to display it! 

The final class in this series will be learning how to compose a landscape in acrylic paints. You can bring in your own picture to create a special memory of a place you've been, or use the image provided in class.

Come celebrate summer making a Bottle Cap Sunflower plaque to decorate your favorite room. All materials provided. Registration is required as space is limited to 10. Please call 607-562-3300 to secure a space.

Learn how to make “Heat and Pour” soap! We have a variety of soap molds and color options to choose from along with essential oils to add a pleasing aroma to your soap.

Use this class to finish up the landscape or still life paintings that were done in the previous lessons. If you are just hopping in, then come in to learn some of the quick basics of acrylic painting. All materials will be supplied.

Create a custom made slate or limestone coaster with your own image or saying. We will learn how to use the laser engraver to create these personalized coasters.

Paint your very own Frida Kahlo Pet Portrait! Join us in the Steele Large Meeting Room to learn about surrealism and take home a piece of art. Bring a photo of your pet to use as a reference. Free and open to adults and teens, 16+.

Visit the CCLD table at the Horseheads Farmer's Market! CCLD will be attending the market the first Friday of each month (August 1st, September 5th, October 3rd).

Paper quilling is an art form that involves rolling, twisting, and gluing thin strips of paper to create decorative designs. Use this technique and make beautiful hand-made greeting cards.

The Calligraphy Club meets the second Wednesday of each month from 2:30-4pm at the West Elmira Library. Bring your own supplies to work on the monthly theme, or anything else you prefer. The club is an open-ended chance to learn from each other.

Learn how to create a watercolor still life using the techniques from the first class, or just hop on into this one, to learn the basic steps used in watercolor painting. All materials will be supplied.

Use a round brush to build up color layers to complete a painting of a flower, leaf or plant in watercolor wash.

Learn how to make indoor wreaths with corks, paper folding techniques or book pages to create these unique designs. All materials will be provided for these.

Teen Acting Lab of Elmira!  Want to try out acting in a fun, no -pressure way?  7th-12th graders learn acting skills through improv games, and more with actor and writer, educator Tim Collins.  All levels of ability welcome.
