7th-12th graders watch, discuss anime and eat snacks. Cosplay encouraged. Hang out, bring a friend!

Teens can come into the Teen Space and make their own unique shrinky dink ornaments to give as gifts or use for holiday decoration at home!

Tanglewood Nature Center will be coming by to teach us how animals adapt to winter AND there will be live animals visiting the Van Etten Library!

Our book club meets the 2nd Friday of the month at Bulkhead Hardware in Southport at 1:30pm.

7th-12 graders turn the Steele memorial library into their own NERF war zone. High powered and automatic NERF guns prohibited; Steele library will provide safety glasses and some NERF guns and darts. 

Join the Steele Memorial Library for an informal get together to talk about search tips and resources available to search your family history.

Interested in chess? Learn how to play from a fellow kid! No experience necessary.

Bring the family to see Santa and take free pictures with him!

Please bring your own camera or phone for pictures. 

Santa has to head back to the North Pole around 2:30, be sure to get your pictures by then.

A book club for exploring new horror authors (excluding Stephen King).

Students in grades 7 through 12 are invited to the Steele Memorial Library Teen Space to enjoy a screening of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Join us for a cozy evening complete with Crock-Pot hot cocoa, toppings, and snacks.

Join the adventure! A fun and exciting Dungeons & Dragons game for tweens. Veteran Dungeon Master Tim Collins will help you create a character and lead you on a thrilling adventure with your fellow party members!

Fill in your Santa letter & we will give it to our Elf on the Shelf, Bixby, to take back to Santa!

Santa will reply to every child that writes to him from Steele Memorial’s Santa mailbox.
