Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring a mat if you have one.

Take a breath, find your center, and discover how a few quiet minutes can change your day. Learn simple practices that can bring clarity and calm into your life. Open to curious beginners and long-time meditators alike.

Learn how to use your tablet in a casual setting, talk to other tablet users, share woes, get advice, ask questions, and more. Bring your tablet or smartphone and your questions! Learn how to download eBooks from the library! 

Use beach-themed items like sea glass, driftwood, and seashells to create motifs and designs in your very own shadow box! Free and open to adults and teens, registration required.

Join Tammy Wilcox for this YOGA exercise class.  

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and a yoga mat will be needed for this class. Some exercises are done from the floor. 

Get ready for School and be the coolest one in class with your very own personally engraved pencil! You can keep them for yourself, share with your bestie or even give one to your teacher to let them know how awesome they are!

Family Movie Popcorn Afternoon

Our book club meets the 2nd Friday of the month at Bulkhead Hardware in Southport at 1:30pm.

For our end of Summer Reading Club celebration (for adults) we will be hosting a silent reading party, with live harp music. Doors open at 5:30pm (this is an after-hours event) and refreshments will be available.

This is the second part of the class continuing to learn the process to paint with acrylics. We will learn more techniques of using acrylic paints to create a still life and landscape painting when the session is complete.

The wind trio features an oboe, French horn, and bassoon.  This year's story is Little Red Riding Hood.  Storied Winds is sure to please the entire family with their lively array of programming and props!

The Calligraphy Club meets the second Wednesday of each month from 2:30-4pm at the West Elmira Library. Bring your own supplies to work on the monthly theme, or anything else you prefer. The club is an open-ended chance to learn from each other.

We will be making signs on the Cricut Machine for your Classroom, (or Dorm Room, Locker or Bedroom) to look bright and cheery, stay organized, be colorful, and to express yourself!
