Discover techniques for creating a soft wash of abstract colors on fabric. We will use small 100% cotton tote bags. The technique involves drawing, painting, squirting, and heat fixing.

We're getting creative with reusing/recycling plastic sheeting - so we'll be creating little plastic purses secured with fun duct tape with ribbon handles.

Color your world with reading rainbow. Learn the copper foil stained glass process with artist, Erica Unterwoman. Solder candy colored glass pieces to sculpt a traditional suncatcher.

For our end of Summer Reading Club celebration (for adults) we will be hosting a silent reading party, with live harp music. Doors open at 5:30pm (this is an after-hours event) and refreshments will be available.
