7th to 12th graders play games with Color Blaze Holi Color Powder and a vibrant game of Color Twister, where every splash of color makes it more exciting. Registration encouraged to save your spot in this fun event.

Open Sew is an unstructured workshop, open to all skill levels, where sewers can socialize while working on their projects. Sewing machines and workspace are provided and an instructor is available to offer assistance and advice when needed.

Love D&D?  

Socialize and play classic fighting games such as Marvel vs Capcom, Street Fighter, and Guilty Gear.

All skill levels are welcome.

Teen Daniel leads an additional session of D&D for teens that is beginning D&D player friendly all skill levels welcome. 
 

Registration needed because space is limited to 7 teens. 
 

7th-12th graders learn to make healthy snacks and learn good eating habits; with the guidance of a SNAP educator Alison Kimbell. 

7th-12th graders learn how to make their own zine with artist and performer Tim Collins. Supplies provided. 

Create a wonderful Butterfly House to help these special critters have a place to overwinter this year! We will use wooden paint sticks to build these homes then will paint them with acrylic paints to look great in your yard.

Summertime is bird watching time! Let’s make bird feeders out of wooden sticks and then paint them in acrylic paints to add a bit of color to your yard! Learn about the birds in the Elmira area that will be coming to snack too!

Teens will use shrinky dink paper and coloring supplies (markers, colored pencils, etc.) to make fun charms, keychains, or accessories! Library Clerk Emil and Volunteer Randal will offer guidance and instruction as necessary.

Create a Seashell Wind Spinner to hang in the breeze.

Paint your very own Jackson Pollock design! In celebration of Summer Reading Club 'Color Our World,' join us in the Steele parking lot for a messy artistic experience while learning about abstract expressionism. Rain or shine.

6pm-7pm Wet and Wild water balloon war & minute to win it games. 7pm - 8pm Foam Party. Bring an old pair of clothes and get ready to get foamed in this fun after hours event for teens in 7-12 grades!
