Curious about Dungeons & Dragons but not sure where to start? Join DM Hannah for a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to the world's most popular tabletop role-playing game! You'll learn the basics of character creation, dice rolling, storytelling, and teamwork as you play through a short adventure together.
This program is perfect for total beginners–no experience or materials needed. We'll cover topics like:
- The basics of how to create your own hero and choose a class and race
- Understanding ability checks, saving throws, and combat
- How roleplaying and teamwork shape the story
- Tips for creative problem-solving and improvisation
- What exactly is a DM and what do they even mean when they ask you to roll a D20?
Come ready to imagine, laugh, and roll some dice–no dragons required (at least, not yet)!
Space is limited & registration is required. Registration is open to teens ages 12-17.
